I hate making mistakes.
In my last Blog Post earlier today, I mentioned that my opponent (Chris Fillios) couldn't earn the support of a single Precinct Captain (see here). I was wrong.
Well, It's Time for Me to "Eat Crow."
I was able to find one Precinct Captain who supports my Republican opponent. His name is Phil Ward. He's a Precinct Captain for the Kootenai County Democrat Central Committee.
Folks...you just can't make this stuff up.
Oh -- and by coincidence -- Phil Ward just happened to be selected by my opponent for the Optional Forms of Government Study Commission. The same Commission where Mr. Ward could be considered the deciding fifth vote (5 to 4) to recommend changing our form of government. Hmmm.
Meanwhile, below is Phil Ward's enthusiastic support of my opponent during the 2020 Republican Primary. What will it read for 2022?
It's strange seeing a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat praise my opponent for his leadership. His praise reads more like a proven Democrat leader, but maybe that's just me.
